THE TITAN FLOOD HOUSE
Free, Hands-On Restoration Training for the People Who Manage Arizona’s Buildings
Most restoration education happens in a classroom with a slideshow. Ours happens in an actual house, with a real hose, real flooring, and real water. We flood it on purpose, then walk you through extracting it, drying it, and proving it’s dry.
The Flood House is where Titan trains its own technicians. It’s also where we train you, engineers, facility teams, maintenance managers, property managers, insurance adjusters, and property owners who want to understand the restoration process and confidently handle the early, critical decisions on their own water losses.
We believe continuing education makes the whole industry better, so we provide this training free of charge, and we build your company’s protocols and standards directly into the session.
The Titan Flood House
Arizona's Only Live Water Damage Restoration Training Facility
Most restoration companies certify their technicians with a written exam. Titan Restoration of Arizona floods a real house.
Since 2010, our dedicated Flood House training facility in Mesa, Arizona has been where every IICRC-certified Titan technician learns water damage restoration through live, hands-on structural flooding demonstrations, using professional-grade extraction and drying equipment on real building materials before they ever respond to a water damage job in Phoenix, Tucson, Flagstaff, or Prescott.
The Flood House is a 1,400 square foot residential property we purchased specifically for this purpose. We flood it. Our technicians dry it. They learn proper in-place drying techniques, professional water extraction methods, moisture detection using thermal imaging, and how to prevent mold growth during the structural drying process, all applied to a real flooded Arizona structure.
What Every Titan Technician Learns at the Flood House
Live Water Extraction Training
Technicians practice multiple professional water extraction methods using industrial-grade equipment on real flooring, subfloor, and structural materials, the same conditions they encounter on water damage restoration jobs across Phoenix, Mesa, Tucson, Flagstaff, and Prescott.
In-Place Structural Drying Techniques
Titan’s foundational approach to water damage restoration is drying everything in place, carpet, padding, and drywall, whenever conditions allow. This restores Arizona properties faster, reduces disruption, and lowers overall water damage repair costs for homeowners and insurance carriers. The Flood House is where this technique is taught, practiced, and perfected by every technician on our team.
What You’ll Learn at the Flood House
- Live Water Extraction. Practice multiple professional extraction methods using industrial-grade equipment on real flooring, subfloor, and structural materials — the same conditions Titan crews face on jobs across Phoenix, Mesa, Tucson, Flagstaff, and Prescott.
- In-Place Structural Drying. Drying everything in place — carpet, padding, and drywall — whenever conditions allow is Titan’s foundational approach. It restores Arizona properties faster, reduces disruption, and lowers overall repair costs for owners and carriers. The Flood House is where this technique is taught, practiced, and perfected.
- Moisture Detection & Thermal Imaging. Train on professional moisture meters and thermal imaging to find hidden moisture behind walls, under flooring, and above ceilings — the moisture that turns into mold when it’s missed after a loss.
- Drying Equipment Placement & Calibration. Learn how to calculate the correct number of air movers and commercial dehumidifiers for a given loss, position them for maximum drying efficiency, and confirm drying is progressing correctly before a job closes out.
- Mold Prevention During Restoration. Understand the conditions that lead to mold growth during and after a water loss — and how proper drying technique, moisture monitoring, and timely extraction stop mold before it starts in Arizona properties.
